Riteless

Long ago, all were ruled by the Tyrant. He demanded all dead be brought to him riteless. He consumed them, body and soul, in an attempt to become a god. At great effort and monumental cost, he was cast down and bound in soil and stone. From his shattered dominion, the Freelands emerged. 

For every hero who played a role in his downfall, a kingdom was given. A thousand kingdoms for a thousand heroes. Centuries passed and many kingdoms faded. Now the few that remain are infested by a cult rising in their midst. Into this volatile time, you are invited to join the web of politics and favors, command warbands, and hunt damned cultists.

Will the Freelands remain free? Or will they be bound in soul-blasted iron once again?

Riteless is a somewhat-low fantasy TTRPG based on Breathless by Fari RPGs. It is inspired by the magic of the Lord of the Rings and the Bronze Age vibe of Conan. 

Various changes include more durable items, clues, tags, and Warband mode.
