The Wish Machines

No one really knows where they came from. Were they always here, lurking? Did an AI translate something best left forgotten? Perhaps the stars lined up just right, and old prisons dissolved into shadow.

Regardless, wish machines are appearing all over the world. They appear as objects, some fantastical, some innocuous, but they hide vast power. Whether by magic, technology, spirituality or cheats in the simulation, they allow their possessors to alter reality to their will.

It is unsure if the wish machines are malevolent, mischievous, or simply incompetent but they often put spins and caveats on wishes. They will find clauses and tricks within even simple wishes. Most are inconvenient, some work fine and some are utter disasters.

You are one of these fortunate wishers. When given the chance, what will you wish for? And how far will you push it to get what you want?

The Wish Machines is based on Push SRD by Cezar Capacle. It can be played solo, with or without a GM.
