The Strongest Rule. This is the ironclad rule of Josay, enforced by demons and psychic ninjas. Fights, and the streaming of fights, is the main economic driver of the 6 islands of Josay. From across the world, fighters, celebrities,  mutants, and ki-damned sorcerers come to fight for the right to challenge, defeat and become the Praetor of Josay. 

Make your own gladiator and vie for glory/wealth/revenge on the mystic Isles. Fight legendary fighters like Thomas Josay and Rivas Rio the Third. Build a streak and try to fight Jiyeon, the current Praetor, or shoot your shot against the strongest fighter ever, the #1 Ranked Khaqan.

Gladiate is a prototype system designed to emulate the feel and flow of a fighting game. It includes a prototype, versatile rules-light system to handle non-fighting activities. This system can also help the game run without a GM. 

It seems to work in my own limited playtests. So please have a go at it and tell me what works and what doesn't. Hope you have fun either way!
